Oranges & reality
The water in a calm day looks more like a mirror to the clouds. Then, out of a sudden, you can break that quiet and virgin image with anything possible or impossible. Look at that small ball under the water. What it could possible be? A moonfish? Another planet? Or an orange? Image an orange then…anything can work in your imagination….and can the orange be so powerful that in it falls the text will fall with her? And the flying orange is or it isn’t just in the mind of a fool? Is this text like a form of an orange? And if we can eat the orange, will we be eating the text itself? Or am I becoming mad? And the word orange can exist without the orange itself? And is that orange moves in the space faster than our thought? Can we see it at all? And if the orange can move faster than light itself, wouldn’t that be impossible accordingly to the laws of physics as we know them? And yet, in the realm of imagination, the impossible becomes possible. In our minds, the orange can defy the speed of light, transcend time, and become a vessel for endless wonder. The power of imagination is such that it defies our linear understanding of the world, making the impossible possible, the intangible tangible. But isn’t it the role of art, poetry, and fiction to create a space where the boundaries of the real and the unreal blur?
